The first cooperation between NCPA Orchestra and Christoph Eschenbach occurred in 2011, when Chinese composer Guo Wenjing’s Rite of Mountain was performed at the same stage with Austrian composer Mahler’s Symphony No. 1. In 2012, Christoph Eschenbach and China NCPA Orchestra had a closer cooperation, during which Christoph Eschenbach conducted the Orchestra to bring the Chinese audience the classic works of great Russian, German and Austrian composers. The China NCPA Orchestra was also invited to visit Germany.
The concert on December 19 will be the occasion for the third time cooperation between Eschenbach and NCPA Orchestra.
China NCPA Orchestra teams up with young pianist Christopher Park to demonstrate the “New Power” in music circle
Piano Concerto No. 20 is one of the most celebrated piano concertos by Mozart, fully conveying self-confidence in life. In the concert to be held that evening, the music power like the "dawn breaking through the darkness" can be seen from the young pianist Christopher Park.
